Miltassia is a hybrid between species or hybrids of the genus Miltonia and the genus Brassia. Miltassia (Mtssa.) Shelob is Mtssa. Olmec by Brassia Edvah Loo. The clone "Tolkien" was awarded an AOS Award of Merit of 80 points in 1998. The awarded flowers were 15.5 cm in natural vertical spread. The clone "Webmaster" is a vigorous plant with star-shaped yellow flowers marked with dark mahogany barring. The flowers are even fragrant!

This orchid prefers a warmer climate with 55 - 90 deg. F (13 -32 deg. C) and 50 - 80% humidity.
