Bc. Maikai "Louise" AM/ AOS

Bc. Maikai

This is Bc. Maikai "Louise" AM/ AOS, an incredibly rich blooming orchid.

Brassocattleya (Bc.) Maikai 'Louise' AM/AOS = Brassavola (B.) nodosa X Cattleya (C.) bowringiana, primary hybrid crossed by Hirose and registered 1/1/1944.

This orchid plant was again bought at Sundance Orchids in Fort Myers, Florida.

Also found the information that the clones "Lea" and "Luise" are non fading clones, while "Mayumi" fades and produces blooms that can have several shades of flowers and will eventually turn white, right before they fall off.
One remarkable detail is that the back of the petals is more colorful than the front. Bc. Maikai
